Community Supported Conservation

about red eft

The Red Eft Project is a nonprofit organization fostering conservation and environmental protection through research, education, and opportunities to explore and connect with nature. To put it simply: we are here to support your important project, so bring it forward!

We believe that sustainability action is highly effective when it is lead by you—your exciting new idea, your circle of influence, the solution you see possible.

Red Eft is here to help you make it happen by bringing you into our network of resources. We can help you get organized, find new resources, reach out to others, get your message out, and just generally put our heads together to find a way to make things happen that move us all towards environmental sustainability.

We welcome anyone who shares these goals to get involved by either bringing forward an action or joining in our resource and services bank. The services bank is one way we fund new projects. There are many people supportive of environmental efforts who want to participate with Red Eft, and do so by offering their time and skills as an Eft Service Volunteer. These skills are made available as services offered for a fee through the organization. So, if you need the services of an accountant, a grantwriter, a plumber, a gardener - look to us first. Wouldn't you like to see your money going directly to conservation projects when you hire that consultant or contractor?

The process is simple: to bring an action forward, fill out an initial "ping" form and we will get in touch with you directly to talk about your ideas. To share your special skills with our resource bank, or to find out what skills we offer as services, jump to the services page to find out more.
